Duties and Responsibilities

Nonlinear is looking to fill an upcoming position within Europe. The territory has been developed over the past several years selling our 2D image analysis products. We are expanding the product range that includes complimentary proteomic applications of LC-MS and MALDI analysis. The ideal candidate must have knowledge of electrophoresis techniques and or MS based applications, with a history of successful selling into the life science market with a minimum of 3 years experience.

Specific roles of the Job

  • Identification of and working with customers and prospects to provide Nonlinear's Image analysis solutions
  • Maintain and build new relationships
  • Organize, coordinate and support seminars and workshops in the European countries listed with help from internal resources
  • Following up and closing of opportunities
  • Maintenance and updating of account knowledge
  • Active cold-calling, sales visits and presentations within the territory to prospects / customers
  • Attend various conference's within the territory, and outside the territory where needed
  • Take part in bi-weekly sales reporting calls and update CRM information
  • Directly report to the Sales Manager concerning territory
  • Meet or exceed sales targets, accurately forecast future business and develop account strategies in your territory plan
