Proteomika S.L. chooses Phoretix 2D Evolution as their 2DGE Image Analysis Solution

Nonlinear Dynamics Ltd, (Newcastle upon Tyne, UK) a leading provider of bioinformatics solutions, announced that Proteomika S.L. (Barcelona, Spain) has chosen Phoretix 2D Evolution as the software solution to provide a more automated approach to 2DGE image analysis within its pharmacoproteomics and toxicoproteomics programs and services.

After extensive testing of alternative 2D image analysis solutions on the market, Proteomika has chosen Nonlinear's Phoretix 2D Evolution software. Dr Simon Santa Cruz summarised the decision:

"As both our in-house and contract proteomics projects have continued to grow, we identified image analysis of 2D gels as an important limitation to our productivity. We needed to find a cost effective solution that would increase our throughput and reduce operator subjectivity.
