Nonlinear Dynamics celebrate listing in Sunday Times ARM Tech Track 100

(Newcastle upon Tyne, UK) Nonlinear Dynamics, the leading provider of Bioinformatics solutions, today announced that it has been listed in the Sunday Times ARM Tech Track 100, a highly coveted league which ranks Britain's fastest growing unquoted Technology companies. Nonlinear's software portfolio comprises data mining and analysis tools for the study of genes and proteins, the targets of drug discovery research.

Nonlinear Dynamics was ranked 66th in the league. Rankings were based on percentage sales growth, with Nonlinear recording an impressive 70% compound annual growth rate over the two financial years between 2000 and 2002. In addition, the Company was one of the companies listed to report a profit for 2002.

The Tech Track 100 league is compiled by Fast Track, the research, publishing and networking company based in Oxford. The survey says, "Conditions have been, and continue to be, tough in the technology sector but the Tech Track 100 league table demonstrates that where companies are built on sound products and innovation, backed by solid finance, they can thrive even in a downturn."

Will Dracup, CEO of Nonlinear Dynamics and company founder, said, "We are delighted that our achievements have been recognised in the Tech Track 100 listing. It is particularly pleasing as we are the only company based in the North-East of England to be listed and we were ranked 4th in the whole of the North of England."
