Nonlinear Dynamics Release New Phoretix 2D Range

(Newcastle upon Tyne) Nonlinear Dynamics Ltd, a leading provider of bioinformatics solutions, announced the latest release of their next generation Phoretix 2D analysis products, including new versions of Phoretix 2D Evolution and Phoretix 2D Expression.

Phoretix 2D Expression provides enhanced 2D gel analysis features for the evolving needs of routine 2DE research. The advances available allow users to apply a logical, three step approach - Set-up, Process and Review. An intuitive analysis wizard quickly defines experiment set-up and then automatically performs comprehensive analysis, increasing gel throughput and user walk away time. Users can then review and edit data using the inclusive range of tools provided.

The updated Phoretix 2D Evolution also applies this logical approach to 2DE analysis but also includes CSA technology for analysing multiplexed 2D gels. This new feature set allows the user to analyse any type of gel, regardless of the staining methodology used, within one single product. Phoretix 2D Evolution also provides an additional editor licence for off-line data review and optimisation, extending user analytical processing power.
