Nonlinear announce updated release of it's TL120 1D gel image analysis software

(Newcastle upon Tyne) Nonlinear Dynamics Ltd, a leading provider of bioinformatics solutions, has today announced an updated release of TL120, the advanced software solution for the analysis of 1D gel data. This release constitutes the latest development in Nonlinear's TotalLab product range for 1D gel applications.

TL120, previously known as Phoretix 1D, is an advanced image analysis solution which delivers an extensive range of features for the in-depth analysis of 1D electrophoresis gels and band pattern matching. The new release now incorporates an extended set of image editing tools along with enhanced gel visualisation and improved usability options.

TL120 can be teamed with the TL120 DM database component, which enables data mining, lane relationship studies and complex analysis queries. The software is available to both PC and Mac users.

It is a core analysis component for accurate quantitation of protein composition in foodstuffs following separation using 1D gel electrophoresis.
