Nonlinear Dynamics expands distribution operation in the Asia Pacific region

(Newcastle upon Tyne, UK) Nonlinear Dynamics Ltd, the company meeting the analysis challenges in proteomics, biomarker discovery and clinical diagnostics has expanded its presence in Asia Pacific through the appointment of a new Distributor Manager and by extending its distributor network. This announcement follows a successful week at the HUPO World Congress in Seoul, Korea where Nonlinear presented their software range, including Progenesis SameSpots v2.0 and Progenesis Stats, for 2D and DIGE image analysis.

Dr. Paul Goulding has been appointed as Distributor Manager and joins Nonlinear after 10 years at UVItec where he gained extensive experience in setting up a distribution network for their gel documentation systems. Paul will be focussing initially on expanding Nonlinear's distributor network in the Asia Pacific region and developing existing distributor partnerships.

Nonlinear are also delighted to announce the appointment of SCRUM Inc, who specialise in the marketing and sales of scientific products, as their distributors in Japan.

Paul commented, "I am joining Nonlinear at a really exciting time as the SameSpots technology has opened up so many new opportunities for us. The addition of SCRUM Inc to our distributor network is the first part of a strategic plan to expand SameSpots sales in this region. Satoshi Sagara, who has experience of the Nonlinear range from his previous role with PerkinElmer, will be overseeing the promotion of the SameSpots technology at SCRUM and we look forward to capitalising on his expertise.
