The PANTHER (Protein ANalysis THrough Evolutionary Relationships) Classification System is designed to classify proteins (and their genes) to support high-throughput analysis. It combines human curation and sophisticated bioinformatics algorithms; more details are available here. PANTHER supports both over-representation and enrichment analyses.
