Recommended PC specification

You can use Progenesis MALDI on any PC running Windows XP or Windows Vista (32bit or 64bit) but performance depends on the processing power of your PC. As a performance guide with 2GB of RAM you can analyse 300 high resolution files (11 Mb each) or 1,200 low resolution files (1 Mb each) and with 8 GB of RAM on a 64bit system you can analyse 1,200 high resolution files (11 Mb each).

For a new PC anything equivalent to the Dell Precision range will work well for Progenesis MALDI.
