SameSpots enables us to apply objective statistical tests, and to visualise and organise meaningful results to achieve a clearer understanding of our data. We are finding SameSpots to be an invaluable tool in our research programmes.
How do I exclude images from analysis if they fail Image QC?
If one or more of your images fails a QC check in the Image QC screen, it can simply be excluded from further analysis.
To exclude the failed gel image, either:
- Find the image in the list at the left, then click the 'X' icon in the Include? column, or
- Select the image in the list at the left, then click the Don't include image in analysis button below the list. The next image will then be selected automatically, allowing you to continue marking images as either included in, or excluded from, the subsequent analysis.
If using the buttons below the list, you can even select multiple images to exclude them all with one button click.
