About this plug-in
This is the standard format produced by Thermo mass spectrometers.
Before installing
This plugin is compatible only with version 2.0.5556 or greater of the software. If you require a version of the plugin that works with an earlier version of Progenesis QI for proteomics, please contact us.
To load data in this format, you must have Xcalibur or Thermo's MSFileReader libraries correctly installed. To download the MSFileReader libraries, follow these steps.
Ensure you have installed MSFileReader version 3.0 SP2 (3.0.29) or higher. However, please note that 3.1 SP4 is known to have issues with Progenesis so avoid that version.
Troubleshooting
If you are unable to import .RAW files, the articles below may help diagnose and resolve the problem:
- I see the error: “This data cannot be accessed because no Thermo file reader libraries were found”
- I see the error: “This file cannot be read with the current regional settings. Please change your settings to ones that use a period as the decimal separator e.g. English (United States).”
