Recommended PC specification
Progenesis LC-MS can be used with 32 and 64-bit operating systems. However, for the best performance we recommend running Progenesis LC-MS on 64-bit Windows with 8-16GB of RAM and a multi-core processor. A computer running 32-bit Windows and 2GB of RAM can analyse small data sets, but may result in your system running out of memory when analyzing larger data sets.
If you need to upgrade your PC or acquire a new one to run Progenesis LC-MS we recommend the Dell Precision workstations for "large businesses" customised with 64-bit Windows 7 and 8-16 GB of RAM. Or you can use these specs as a guide to purchase equivalent performance with other brands of computers.
